I used to be your regular old girl when it came to food. Casseroles-yes. White bread-double yes! For two years while teaching my lunches consisted of frozen dinners and my suppers (that's how we say it in the south) consisted primarily of cream-of-whatever soup. But not lately...
Lately I've been on a quest. A quest towards a "cleaner" lifestyle. This includes but is not limited to: what we eat for dinner, what we clean our bodies with, how we clean our home and growing our own food.

Since Christmas, I have sought to slowly but surely replace the "artificial" with more natural, healthy choices in our household. Some changes have been easy-peasy (like switching to more natural soaps and shampoos). Some changes I embraced with much kicking and screaming (like nixing all white sugar).
We still haven't arrived, but we're working on it. And I can say with full confidence that I feel much better (health-wise) about the way we are living now as opposed to how we were living 6 months ago.
I'm by no means a full blown "green gal". In fact, if I were to rate our "naturaln-ness" on a scale of 1-10, we would fall at about a 7.5. However, I'm going to be writing a series of "officially un-artificial" posts including resources that have helped me live a cleaner lifestyle. I would love to know what you are most interested in hearing about. Clean eating? Gardening? Cleaning products? Comment away!
