We got our April numbers this week. We are currently #17 for a boy and #24 for a girl. However, still the second family on the list for a child over 24 months. A referral could be right around the corner or months and months away. Learning how to cope with the constant unknowns sure is a booger.

But, we continue to trust in the One who holds are future family in His hands. Knowing that our child will not ultimately satisfy, we are claiming that He alone is enough. We're learning to live for the moment, finding joy in the gifts He has given. I'm also realizing that I have to preach this to myself often (sometimes daily). The more I preach it, the more I believe it. So I'm preachin'.
A good reminder of His faithfulness? My sweet friend, Rebekah, is in Ethiopia this week picking up her son. I think I'm living vicariously through her. I can hardly wait to get up each morning and see what she has posted from her trip. Isn't he handsome?!?
Praying fervently that the Lord would give us the "desire of our hearts" and lead us to our sweet child. We would appreciate the prayers from you as well!
